You are struck by a sudden rush of awe as you set your eyes upon the figure before you. Hovering several feet off the ground, the tall, statuesque woman has skin like marble and hair of flowing night. Her body is clothed only in thin banners of crimson silk that twist and curl through the air beneath her feet, and by circlets of decorative gold and bronze. Her features are stern, cold, and pitiless, her eyes the red of fresh blood, and her dark hair seems to go on and on, twisting and churning through the air around her, tumbling like banks of dark smoke and swimming through the blood that coats the floor beneath her, moving as though of its own dark accord. As her eyes turn toward you, you feel the world lurch around you, and she speaks in a voice that is many and one at once, a series of deep, increasinglymonstrous echoes following after each syllable…
